With our newest update - Updates are free of charge for all customers - we have not only got rid of an old problem that prevented DSM to open correctly on some, very few, Windows machines, but we also took the chance to add a new feature to the software that has been requested from our customers. The new Quick Invoice is thought for 'bypassing' customers who are neither staying at your dive resort nor dive at your your dive resort. They maybe just want to buy a mask and a snorkel. The Quick Invoice is easy accessible through the main menu. Articles can be selected from your product list and sales commissions can be added to any staff member.The quick invoice can also be used for group payments and commissions can be added to any partner account. Therefore additionally we added 'sub-accounts' to the Quick Invoice. This means that Quick Invoices can be used not only for sales anymore but you can add any incoming payment to any sub-account you have created in the "Cash Box" section.

Another new part that comes with this update is the 'Cash Control'. Each staff member has a cash in/out page now. I'd like to call it another Real Life Feature. In most cases the Dive Shop Manager or Owner won't be the last person to leave the office in the evening, so who takes the money out of the register in the evening? What if after the night dive someone needs to pay the bill and only the divemaster is still in the dive shop? Honestly, in practice and if you don't have a big safe in your dive center, the money will be taken out from different employees during time. This amount can be signed in and out now in the cash box when you close the register for the day and will be automatically added to an account page in the staff section.
