DiveShopManager 2.03 can do a lot of things that efficiently help to make a dive center more profitable. It can also help to run things smooth in the office and give you a great overview on all income and expenses of your dive resort. We do recommend though to go through the step by step instructions of the user manual while setting up the software for the first time. Due to the nature of the scuba diving business DiveShopManager is a very complex software. - I said complex, not complicated. The software is built upon logically happening events, so whenever you get stuck, just think how you would solve the problem with pen and paper. You will soon discover that it is not much different but far more effective to work with a software. DSM 2.03 has now even more statistic views and print possibilities. We also had to widen some summary number fields for our customers in Turkey and Indonesia. Nevertheless, there weren’t many bugs to fix what showed us that DSM is now running absolutely stable and without any crashes on all systems XP,Mac OX10+ and even on Windows Vista. And for our Macintosh users; we have upgraded DSM to work on the new Mac Panther and Mac Leopard versions as well. You can now print the cash box as daily journal. You can also print a list of all entries in the cashbox over any period of time. Furthermore you can print all sub-accounts separately for any period of time. A visible booking number has been added to each entry in the cash box, so you can add the number to any receipt or invoice that you keep in your physical folders. Learn more about the bug fix here. The new Quick Invoice is thought for 'bypassing' customers who are neither staying at your dive resort nor dive at your your dive resort. They maybe just want to buy a mask and a snorkel. The Quick Invoice is easy accessible through the main menu. Articles can be selected from your product list and sales commissions can be added to any staff member.The quick invoice can also be used for group payments and commissions can be added to any partner account. Therefore additionally we added 'sub-accounts' to the Quick Invoice. This means that Quick Invoices can be used not only for sales anymore but you can add any incoming payment to any sub-account you have created in the "Cash Box" section. I'd like to call it another Real Life Feature. In most cases the Dive Shop Manager or Owner won't be the last person to leave the office in the evening, so who takes the money out of the register in the evening? What if after the night dive someone needs to pay the bill and only the divemaster is still in the dive shop? Honestly, in practice and if you don't have a big safe in your dive center, the money will be taken out from different employees during time. This amount can be signed in and out now in the cash box when you close the register for the day and will be automatically added to an account page in the staff section.
